About Portugal Digital Nomad Visa
The Portugal Digital Nomad Visa is available to foreigners who work remotely and receive a stable income from outside Portugal. The terms and conditions of visa issuance are regulated by Law No.18/2022 dated 25.08.2022.
An applicant must buy or rent housing in Portugal and prove a monthly income of at least €3,040 to get a Digital Nomad Visa.
The long-term Digital Nomad Visa holders can apply for a residence permit: they come to Portugal, submit biometrics and personally apply for residency. After the application is approved, a residence permit card will be sent to the applicant’s registered address in Portugal.

Opportunity to get a residence permit
The long-term Digital Nomad Visa is valid for 1 year or more. A visa holder can come to Portugal and apply for a residence permit during this period. Family members, namely a spouse, children under 26 and parents, can get residence permits, too.
Relocation to Portugal at the lowest cost
Expenses for obtaining a Digital Nomad Visa are lower than those for participating in the Portugal Golden Visa Program.
